We are looking to expand and complement our team with the appointment of tenacious Area Sales Manager who can effectively target the construction market across the South Midlands & South East of the UK.
SALARY: £30,000- £40,000 dependent on experience

Whilst directly reporting to Head of Sales, your focus will be to:
*Map out opportunities within the construction/ civil engineering market across the South East / South Midlands area.
*Target, assess and secure profitable business through Major Contractors, Manufacturers, Architects and Local Authorities.
*Expand existing accounts through single site revenue, networking across multiple sites, group opportunities and projects.
*Explore cross selling opportunities and where we can add mutual value.
*Become an expert with your field where you are seen as the go to within your territory.
REQUIREMENTS – Area Sales Manager
To be successful in your application you must be happy to work in a field based role across the South East/ South Midlands territory with the flexibility to stay away from home when required (average twice a week).
ESSENTIALLY YOU WILL:
Already have a proven track record in successful operating within a field sales role selling a technically bias product or solution.
This may include but not limited to chemicals, coatings, waterproofing, tools, fixings, concrete, pigments, dyes, epoxy resins, sealants, ready mix, facades, fibres, adhesives, soft flooring, hard flooring, grinding aids, cement, precast or grouts.
However if you have the drive and ambition we are genuinely open on background having seen members shine from both Industrial and Commercial sales backgrounds.
AS WELL AS:
*Being a commercially astute individual who is driven by generating new business.
*Displaying strong communication capabilities with a persuasive manner who can naturally converse at all levels.
*Exhibiting a naturally inquisitive mind with a sharp eye for detail and identifying opportunities.
*Holding a valid UK driving licence.
