The role as a Project Coordinator will offer the right candidate a huge variation of work and has great prospects to develop into a Project Manager or Account Manager.
As a Project Coordinator within the POS and Retail Design Industry you will work with existing and new clients who will order the manufacture and supply of point of sales units. You will manage a patented product range, including checking availability, confirming orders and raising orders for dispatch. The role will involve a large amount of client interaction so being a confident communicator and problem solver is a must.
Alongside dealing with orders of existing products you will be involved in putting together bespoke orders for client’s projects. The whole project process will involve a large amount of administration to ensure all orders are clarified and to exacting standards.
This role is pinnacle within the business and you will work closely with all areas of the company including the design studio, account management also the sales team.
Being a confident Project Coordinator you will ensure the client is kept informed of progress and understands timescales or project completion. You will also need to deal with any issues that arise and build a strong relationship with the client.
From time to time you will visit with suppliers and clients so must be confident in meeting face to face and ideally have a driving licence.
In order to be successful in this role we are looking for candidates who have the following skills, experience and personality traits:
• Experience working as an Account Executive or Project Coordinator is highly sought after.
• Knowledge of the POS, Shop-fitting or Retail Design Industry is very advantageous.
• The ability to communicate across all levels is essential.
• Strong administration skills and being computer literate is a must.
• You’ll have proven experience working on multiple projects / tasks at once.
• Attention to detail is essential.
