SALARY: £27,500 basic plus guaranteed earnings on top for the first year OTE; £50,000- £55,000- open ended and realistic based on the region’s previous performance.

JOB SPECIFICATION - Senior Field Sales Executive – Automotive / Materials Handling Equipment

To develop sales with a very wide range of new and existing end users direct, and via dealers. You will need to be comfortable presenting from shop floor to board level at end users.

You will also develop and cultivate relationships with dealers giving them technical support and back up including dual visits and support. Making them think of my client first when dealing with their end user customers which could be logistics/ warehousing/ materials handling, manufacturing/ line feed, oil and gas, hospitals, waste management (applications across a lot of markets), local government,/ councils, the armed forces, prisons, theme parks, sport/ leisure/ golf, maintenance/ landscaping ground care in stadia, cemeteries etc., short term hire (from one to five years) for events/ VIP transportation or for any short term need or upturn in production or activity in the manufacturing environment. There are always new applications and markets to exploit and new product development.

REQUIREMENTS - Senior Field Sales Executive – Automotive / Materials Handling Equipment

Ideally you will have a proven track record of sales success in something related either by product (i.e. equipment/ materials handling or ancillary products like batteries, attachments etc.); or market related. Any experience in a similar end user/ dealer manager role would be preferable. But outstanding applications from any target driven commercial or industrial product, ideally capital equipment background will be considered.
