Business Development / Telesales

This forward thinking and multi-award winning Exhibition stand design and build organisation are actively seeking a business development / telesales executive to join the team. 

SALARY: £17,000 Up to £3,000 Bonus

LOCATION: Stockport

COMMUTABLE LOCATIONS: Stockport, Cheadle, Disley, New Mills, Bramhall, Romiley, Bredbury

JOB SPECIFICATION:

A prestigious client of ours is currently looking for a business development / telesales candidate to join their professional office based near Stockport.

They offer an excellent basic salary of   £17,000 per annum with a performance based bonus opportunity of up to £3,000 (Circa £20,000 potential).

The Internal Sales Executive is responsible for the generation and development of new business leads / customers. You role will be to identify / contact and secure new potential customers for the business and build strong relationships, ensuring continued business growth.

Previous experience within the business development / telesales area would be favourable / preferential.

DUTIES:

Use existing comprehensive company database to source new business opportunities and customers and build strong relationships and add continually to this database through research

  • Research websites, media, LinkedIn and multiple data sources to generate new business
  • Handle all incoming enquiries with regards to new business within a sales team structure
  • Achieve minimum assigned targets on a weekly and monthly basis
  • Administration to record and follow up any customer activity
  • Create, negotiate and close agreements

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Confident to work on own initiative and motivated to achieve individual and group targets
  • Outgoing personality – extremely confident over the phone
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Strong communication skills – both written and verbal
  • Computer literate essential (excel word database knowledge)
  • Ability to multi-task
