Car or Van Pension LOCATION: Manchester based, covering UK when not in Workshop COMMUTABLE LOCATIONS: Manchester, Bolton, Oldham, Bradford, Leeds, Warrington JOB SPECIFICATION - Service Engineer This is a multi-faceted engineering role, incorporating workshop and field service work, approx. 60% Field 40% workshop.As an Engineer your field service work will involve installations, breakdown and planned Service Contract work, on a range of Flow and Shrink wrapping machinery, at customer’s sites and will involve occasional nights away and some weekend work.In house engineering work will include PDI’s, repair and refurbishment of used machinery.Ideally, you will have experience of packaging machinery, however, experience as an Engineer on fast moving SPM will also be considered.The work is predominantly mechanically biased, working on Barings, shafts, anvils and jaw replacement. However, you should possess some electrical knowledge and experience. REQUIREMENTS - Service Engineer Mechanically qualified engineer C &G, BTec or HNC, with electrical knowledge THE COMPANY - Service Engineer Distributor of Flow & Shrink wrapping machinery as well as some VFFS (Vertical Form Fill & Seal) machines.
