JOB SPECIFICATION: Account Director – PR/Marcomms
The company requires an experienced Account Director to oversee strategic counsel and direction to a multi-disciplinary team delivering excellent client relations and the implementation of integrated strategies.
Consequently, the successful Account Director will help uphold the agency’s reputation for creativity and quality, overseeing the following areas:
-Encourage and foster innovative approaches – encouraging collaboration among team members and challenging concepts of multi-channel story telling.
-Be a leader and champion of all aspects of Public Relations – harnessing the full potential of social media and online opportunities.
-To deliver expert writing services across disciplines such as press releases, feature articles, white paper and blogs.
-Devise agency briefs that deliver an intelligent approach to research and campaign planning.
-Act as an escalation point – resolving any issues that may arise in a professional manner, ensuring the highest level of standards are maintained.
-Create weekly and monthly evaluations, delivering regular status reports.
-Attend new business opportunities and pitches
-Take ownership of the Client’s experience, engaging with several stakeholders at any one time.

REQUIREMENTS: Account Director – PR/Marcomms
To be successful as the Account Director, you will have proven success managing high-profile B2B accounts – delivering strategic and innovative solutions within a Marketing Agency. You will be customer-focused, with exceptional interpersonal and communication skills. It is important you will have the ability to advise and influence key decision makers.
Overall, the Account Director will also have the following attributes:
-Extensive senior PR or Marcomms experience of managing high-profile clients
-An understanding of how digital and social media relate to PR
-The ability to multi-task and prioritise various accounts in a deadline driven environment
-Experience in leading and winning new business by leading company pitches
-Excellent man-management skills, leading a team by example and motivating others around you
-Degree educated or professionally qualified
