Accounts Administrator

Are you an organised and Sage proficient Financial Accounts Administrator? We need you to look after the (circa £2m) accounts of our growing engineering company based in Nottingham. If you know Sage and have got the ability to keep lots of plates spinning at once then we want to hear from you.  
BASIC SALARY: Up to £35,000
· Annual company bonus
· 25 days holiday + bank holidays – rising with service

JOB DESCRIPTION: Accounts Administrator, Accounts Assistant – Sage – Engineering
This Accounts Administrator role is working for a circa 20 people business, processing payroll, accounts payable, supplier invoices etc.  
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Accounts Administrator, Accounts Assistant – Sage – Engineering
To be our Accounts Administrator, you will have competent use of the following software packages:
· Sage 50cloud Accounts Professional
· Microsoft Office 365, mainly Outlook, Word, Excel & Access
As our Accounts Administrator you will need to book supplier invoices into Sage, and emailed to the appropriate Engineer for approval. Payments will also need to be booked into Sage. (circa 200 supplier invoices per month).
You will also be require to invoice customers when instructed by the engineering department. (circa 60 customer invoices per month).
Also, Payroll will need to be booked into Sage, and VAT to be produced from Sage every quarter, verified, then submitted to HMRC.
The Accounts Administrator will also need to produce the Management reports monthly to include sales, debtors, creditors, profit and loss, bank balances, and current work-in-progress (WIP). You will also need to produce financial information to management as required.
PERSON SPECIFICATION: Accounts Administrator, Accounts Assistant – Sage – Engineering
· Competent user of Sage 50cloud Accounts with experience of invoice raising, processing, banking and preparation of payroll
· Well organised and structured with the ability to keep plates spinning.
Any exposure to finance administration from within an engineering company would be an advantage.
