Area Sales Engineer

World leading developer and manufacturer of drive technology has an opportunity for an Area Sales Engineer to target the distribution and end user channels, as part of their growth strategy, covering the Northern England.

SALARY: £35,000 - £45,000

OTE: £50,000 - £55,000

LOCATION: Working from home, covering Northern England

JOB SPECIFICATION: Area Sales Engineer

As an Area Sales Engineer you will report to the UK Sales Manager and be responsible for sales into new distributors and end users. Whilst you will be looking after existing customers, the emphasis will be very much on new business generation into various industry sectors including; Food & Beverage, Logistics, Waste / Water treatment, Corrugated Packaging and Paper.

You will also be responsible for supporting Distributors in sales meetings

As part of the sales process you will need to understand and resolve customer's productivity issues and provide cost effective solutions.

REQUIREMENTS - Area Sales Engineer

As an Area Sales Engineer, you will have:

· Technical Sales Background - External or Internal sales
· Demonstrable record of sales achieving targets
· New Business generation experience
· Excellent planning skills
· Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
· Solution Sales experience
