BASIC SALARY: £30,000 – £35,000 per annum (DOE)

As our Area Sales Manager / Business Development Manager your responsibilities will be:
· To manage and grow your sales pipeline by generating a new client base utilising your business development skills.
· Calling and visiting potential new clients across the UK.
· To share your product knowledge (that we will hone and develop) with confidence to new clients.
· Building and maintaining a sales CRM system.

This Area Sales Manager role is an independent role where you will report directly to the Managing Director. After your initial onsite training, this will be a hybrid role, where you will be expected to be self-motivating and driven to achieve results. You will have a natural talent when it comes to the sales cycle and it’s important that you can plan and prioritise your workload to maximise your opportunities.
Ideally, we will be talking to sales professionals who have had exposure to the electronics manufacturing industry, working within a sales role at a contract manufacturers or component distributors, having sold into OEM customers.
You will also have:
· Experience selling within the electronic manufacturing or industrial component sector and ideally have a relevant qualification.
· Knowledge of electronic components and PCBs
· The self-motivation and drive to create a healthy sales pipeline whilst remaining focused and organised.
· A demonstrable understanding of business development strategies and activity
Training & Development – Training will be given on our products so that you are confident when you hit the road and start calling!
