LOCATION: With a head office near Huntingdon, this is a field based position covering the UK with regular visits to the Head Office.

JOB SPECIFICATION: Area Sales Manager / Business Development Manager - UV Disinfection
We are a world leader in the growing sector of UV (Ultra Violet) Disinfection Systems. Due to massive demand, we have an opportunity for a Territory Sales Manager / Field Sales Executive to drive new business growth across the UK into the following growing markets: Food & Beverage Manufacturing, Process & Packaging Machinery, Building Services and Industrial Equipment.
Working alongside the Managing Director and Internal Business Development Manager you will plan and generate new business sales across the UK. Your responsibilities will include:
· Self-generating leads as well as following up enquiries.
· Strategic business planning including identifying target markets and planning sales campaigns.
· Territory planning.
· Booking and attending client meetings.
· Selling a range of solutions varying in value from £2k – £25k in a consultative manner.
Many of our products are unique and therefore we enjoy little competition in our sector; giving you a huge sales advantage.
REQUIREMENTS: Area Sales Manager / Business Development Manager - UV Disinfection
As the Territory Sales Manager/ Field Sales Executive, you must have a successful track record of closing deals in a New Business, external sales role within a technical or engineering environment. A technical qualification would be advantageous but not mandatory. You must be experienced selling a high-value or bespoke product or solution/service, circa £20k AOV into the food and beverage, building services, general industrial, marine, or agriculture verticals.
To be considered for this role you MUST be an experienced New Business field sales professional with a proven track record of closing high value deals from within an engineering environment.
You will have experience of:
· Selling high value/bespoke services OR products into the food and beverage, building services or industrial equipment market.
· Have a highly entrepreneurial mindset with experience of finding and winning new business.
· Demonstrate success of solution sales, ideally with values of circa £20k plus.
· Be highly skilled at identifying new business opportunities through self-generated leads.
· Be an experienced territory planner; used to working independently and being highly organised.
