Home Based Covering: Manchester 

You could be based: Within 20km from Manchester City Centre – Stockport, Rochdale, Bolton, Ashton under Lyne, Stretford, Altrincham, Bury, Leigh

We are looking for someone to control the Manchester area.

As our Area Sales Representative / Field Sales Manager you will be on the front line and the person, the retailer really engages with. Your goal is to build relationships and create positive ‘win win’ situations where a true partnership is formed.

Key Tasks:

  • Full ownership in driving sales forward.
  • Penetrate local and Independent stores, pharmacies and vape stores.
  • Penetrate local CTN’s (confectionery, news, tobacconists), forecourts and non-stocking independent traditional retailers driving new business and range distribution.
  • Investigate new business opportunity through in store/outlet sampling.
  • Manage accounts; point of sale.
  • Increasing product volume in both existing accounts and new accounts.
  • Communicate, engage and build relationships with clients.


To be successful in your application you MUST hold a UK driving license, your own vehicle (car allowance included) and live within 20km from the city centre. We are particularly keen to receive applications from candidates who have a genuine experience in selling into the independent retail market.

Critically you MUST be:

  • Direct, resilient and likeable.
  • Target driven and can close/negotiate new accounts.
  • Proven field sales background- we are truly open on industry.
  • Energetic with strong presenting skills.
  • Strong in using Microsoft office. 

Ideally you will have:

  • Relevant experience in an FMCG environment.
  • Strong knowledge on store, pharmacies and vape shops.
