Channel Business Development Manager

As one of the most highly recognisable consumer electronics and ICT brands worldwide, we require a strong Channel Business Development Manager to manage our Tier one VARS/ Resellers. Ultimately developing business with our core partners whilst strengthening these relationships.

SALARY: £40,000-£45,000

JOB SPECIFICATION: Channel Business Development Manager

The main purpose of this role is the retain and grow business within our top Enterprise and Corporate Resellers/ VARS.
Reporting to The Head of Channel, you will also lead a small team of channel account managers, leading from the front in what is a very hands on role.
We are looking for someone who can drive retention and growth across our market share.

Your key focus will be our range of Chromebooks, selling this into tier one accounts, identifying end user sales opportunities and supporting your partner with these sales.

Additionally you will be responsible for: -

· Growing revenue across assigned product categories (where appropriate) in the Commercial channel including Education
· Business planning across the various platforms; forming and executing a strategy for growth
· Large scale opportunity conception, management, and closing in Salesforce
· Relationship management across Reseller, Distribution, End user and Alliance partners to the end goal of creating and uncovering more opportunities
· Creating and executing a business plan which is driving towards achievement of quarterly and annual objectives and targets around revenue and  Commercial market share.
· Ensuring we are positioned as a key preferred supplier to end users and to our channel partners

REQUIREMENTS: Channel Business Development Manager

This is the perfect opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast paced, channel environment. You will already have successful relationships with the likes of CDW, Insight, Softcat, Computacenter to name a few.
As Channel Business Development Manager, you will be very hands on, leading from the front with your team, previous team leadership experience will be a huge plus.
You will be the face of our Chromebooks therefore having a passion for this technology will be a huge advantage.
Additionally, you will be required to have the following skills and experiences; -

· Solid channel management knowledge and experience either within an IT or CE Vendor or Distributor
· Excellent communication and presentation skills
· A proven track record of accelerating growth within key verticals or partners
· A strong commercial understanding
· Be driven, pro-active and assertive, a true team leader

It is highly likely you will have worked in any of the following roles and/or markets, and worked with the following products and/or services: VAR Account Director, Channel Sales Manager, Channel Manager, Corporate Account Manager, VAR, Reseller, Channel, Channel Sales, VAR Account Manager, VAR Sales Manager, Reseller Sales Manager
