JOB DESCRIPTION: Commercial Director - Manufacturing Group : Industrial Capital Equipment & Solutions
This is a new role reporting into the Business Unit Managing Director, and you will be the figure head for driving and delivering growth. Your focus will be to challenge and be challenged, helping the team change old habits and processes by creating, driving and delivering a growth strategy that will enhance and improve margins and market share in a complex and varied market sector.
As Commercial Director you: ·Must have a proven capability of creating and delivering service led sales strategies. ·Must have strong people management skills and a track record of managing and motivating sales teams to deliver business growth targets ·Must have extensive experience of managing CRM systems (ideally Salesforce) and using them to support sales delivery through analysis and performance measurement ·Must have a proven track record of adding good processes and delivering value to the business and its customers in a complex market ·Be able to challenge the status quo and deliver operational excellence whilst leading from the front
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Commercial Director - Manufacturing Group : Industrial Capital Equipment & Solutions
·Design and develop effective sales strategies that deliver budgeted revenue targets through segmented solutions and product ranges. ·Define and implement short and long-term goals for the sales team driven by overall company strategic objectives. ·Leverage the CRM system to provide target reporting and regular, accurate forecasting with demonstrable data support. ·Develop and manage sales commission schemes that align to Business Strategy. ·Develop a culture of high performance through skillset analysis, coaching, knowledge sharing and individual development within the team. ·Work with the Market and Innovation team and the Divisional Marketing Manager to craft and present the segmented messaging strategy to support sales execution. ·Develop and implement an effective segmented Key Account strategy. Play a central role in key account management, attending meetings and events where appropriate and being a senior point of contact for any escalated issues which may arise. ·Regularly review and analyse market conditions and competition as seen ‘on the ground’ to give pertinent feedback for Business Unit strategic development.
