Maintenance Engineer - Multiskilled

Multi-skilled Electrical/ Mechanical Maintenance Engineer based in Peterborough with strong career development opportunities and training investment. We are an established, growing company and expanding our manufacturing facilities.

SALARY: £37,500 Performance Bonuses of £4,000

BENEFITS: Holidays (25 shift days, plus 8 Bank Holidays) Pension Child Care Life Assurance.

Shifts: Rotating earlies, lates, nights.

Site Based: Peterborough, Cambridgeshire.

Commutable from: Stamford, Corby, Oakham, Spalding, Wisbech.

Job Specification:

As Maintenance Engineer, you will be involved with all aspects of a technically innovative and developing manufacturing facility, including:
·Reactive and planned maintenance engineering.
·Root cause analysis for machinery breakdowns.
·Continuous improvement projects.
·Manufacturing line changes machinery obsolescence.
·Installation and commissioning of new machinery / production lines.

To be successful in your application you MUST be either a Multi-Skilled Electrical / Mechanical Maintenance Engineer, Service Engineer or Installation and Commissioning Engineer from an industrial manufacturing background, able to commute to Peterborough region. We are particularly keen to receive applications from individuals who have a true understanding of maintenance engineering and looking to develop themselves and their careers.

Essentially you will:

·Be apprenticeship trained.
·Hold ONC/City and Guilds level 3 or equivalent within electrical engineering with 17th or 18th Edition Regulations.
·Be Multi-skilled Electrical / Mechanical Maintenance Engineer, able to fault find both electrically and mechanically.
·Have a background within industrial maintenance engineering.
·Able to TIG weld to a high standard stainless pipework, pressure tested to 150 PSI.

For Maintenance Engineer - Multi-skilled, desirably you will:

Have a background within a fast moving or process manufacturing background, such as FMCG, Food, Paper Manufacturing, Process Manufacturing, Pharmaceutical, Chemicals, etc.
