Export Account Manager - German Distributors

Sprechen sie deutsch? Based from home in the UK, managing 4 distributors in Germany hence the fluent German required. Travelling approximately 50% of your time, occasional office visits, otherwise the autonomy to drive and develop your relationship with your clients.

SALARY: Up to £40,000

JOB SPECIFICATION: Export Account Manager - German Distributors : Electronic Connectors

Having recently signed two new exciting distribution partnerships we need an experienced distribution account manager to cement the relationships and drive the ambitious growth these partners have. Coupled with 2 established partners (legacy products). This role will put you at the centre of our German / Polish operation.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Support partners with regular visits, spending at least 50% of your time in Germany.
· Managing circa 500,000€ with the 2 legacy partners, both new partners expert to generate revenues of 500,000€ each over the next two years.
· Network through each client understanding each key decision makers, influencers and departments.
· Ensure visibility through the account, creating product champions and being seen as a knowledge expert.
· Working closely with sales representatives from each partner, sharing information, accompanying on end user visits.
· Liaising with technical colleagues to offer best support partners.

Experience you should have / or what you bring with you:

· You must either be a native German speaker living in the UK or be a fluent German speaker.
· Management of distribution partners / value added resellers.
· Tenacity and drive in approaching and engaging with clients.
· A technical background in the sale of industrial components – the closer to electrical or electronic the better.
· Have a persuasive, influencing manner getting others to ‘buy in’ to you.
· Previously sold with a partnership in mind – ultimately our products are a key element in enabling our customers to deliver.
