BASIC SALARY: £30,000 – £35,000 per annum

BENEFITS:
· £10k OTE but truly OPEN ENDED

LOCATION: Based at the Office in Coventry when not travelling

COMMUTABLE LOCATIONS: Midlands, Birmingham, Leicester, Warwick.

JOB DESCRIPTION: Export Sales Executive – German Speaking

Reporting to the Sales & Marketing Director the Export Sales Executive will be the face of our business, within the German speaking region and be responsible for:

· The growth and development of the territorial business through new and existing distribution channels and direct sales with major Retailers and key accounts in the Banking & Leisure sectors.
· Developing and implementing the sales strategy to achieve agreed growth targets.
· Closing new sales opportunities and introducing new services to your key stakeholders.
· Identifying and communicating with key influencers and decision makers at all levels within your territory.

Everyday duties include:
· To ensure the accounts receive first class customer service.
· To create and execute both national and local promotional programmes.
· To draw up annual Territory business plans for each designated account/market.
· To cross sell company brands into existing and new channels.

PERSON SPECIFICATION: Export Sales Executive – German Speaking

As an Export Sales Executive you will be involved in helping develop our international sales effort in the designated area (Germany, Netherlands, Austria, Switzerland and Poland) so being fluent in German will be essential.

We’re inviting applications from Export Sales Coordinators / Export Sales Executives or Export Account Manager with a demonstrable internal sales background and who can show how / where targets have been set & regularly achieved.

Ideally, you’ll have sold into the Retail, Banking or Leisure sectors – this could be either display, cash handling/protection, retail equipment, POS or similar B2B products via a distribution channel, particularly in Germany. Fluent (spoken and written) German is essential and other languages will be advantageous.

In addition, you should:
· Achieve target sales and new account targets in line with Export objectives.
· Develop and maintain an intimate knowledge of key customer policies and conceive and implement specific customer strategic plans.
· Provide timely, achievable sales forecasts, fully evidenced by activity and sales trends.
· Maintain the CRM system for all existing and prospect accounts.
