Established over 25 years, this growing company has recently been acquired by a large European group opening up new overseas markets for their manufactured range of standard and bespoke industrial liquid material metering, dosing, dispense / pump systems. Their range has applications across a very wide range of industries, any manufacturer where application of adhesives, sealants, coatings, potting compounds, encapsulants as part of their production process. This includes automotive, aerospace, electronics, packaging, prototyping, construction products, signage / display amongst many others. They are looking for a Sales Engineer covering the UK, north of Northampton, to join their stable, successful sales team.

JOB SPECIFICATION - Field Sales Engineer - Industrial Adhesive, Sealant, Dosing, Metering, Dispensing Equipment

A classic technical Field Sales Engineer role which involves developing capital equipment i.e. pumping and dispense systems sales throughout the Midlands and north of England to a very wide range of manufacturing industry, OEMs, and systems integrators. Most sales are direct to end users in manufacturing industry dealing with a range of decision makers including Production Managers, Buyers and up to Director Level. There will be a full database of existing and potential customers to sell and substantial existing sales in the region, but you will also be generating your own leads via your market knowledge, internet, trade magazines, exhibitions and crucially by cultivating relationships with materials suppliers (adhesives, sealants, coatings, potting compounds, encapsulants etc.) You will be well supported by a strong technical team who do demonstrations, commissioning, service etc.

To be considered for his role you will need either to have a proven track record of success some sort of capital equipment into manufacturing industry or OEMs or you could also have sold the materials themselves; adhesives, sealants, coatings into the same markets. You could be an experienced Field Sales Engineer or possibly someone who has some face to face sales technical or engineering experience looking for the next step in your career.
