JOB SPECIFICATION - Field Sales Engineer / Regional Sales Manager Designate – Electronic Components; Sensors to OEMs
To grow an area with significant existing business, but with scope to develop to over £500k via existing account development and new business via your own existing knowledge and contacts, my client’s database and following a very wide range of marketing (website, exhibition and advertising) generated leads. You will be selling market leading technical products in terms of applications and innovation with the latest IO link technology to industrial machinery OEMs and machine builders by getting “specced in” with senior engineering up to Board level decision makers at clients. As well as offering realistic OTE and uncapped earnings potential, this role carries definite prospects, and a clearly defined fast track career path into, a Regional Sales Management or “Product Specialist” roles and beyond, the details of which will be discussed with the right candidates at interview. These are exciting times to be joining a company with an established presence in the UK market but huge scope for growth.
REQUIREMENTS - Field Sales Engineer / Regional Sales Manager Designate – Electronic Components; Sensors to OEMs
Preferably you will have a successful track of sales in the sensors market, but my client will also consider outstanding candidates selling other types of electronic, electrical or automation or related e.g. pneumatic components, ideally with a good mechanical understanding, as although these are electronic components they solve mechanical problems for the client. Preferably not essentially you will be educated to degree level in an engineering discipline. Whilst being driven, ambitious, professional and career minded you will also be a team player as this is very much the company ethos.
Established for over thirty years my client is a manufacturer of a wide range of products and technology for contact-less object detection in the industrial environment including sensors. With annual sales of circa £100m and a presence in over 50 countries, their UK subsidiary has experienced rapid annual growth of over 20% in the last few years and is one of, if not the, most successful subsidiary for this European manufacturer. This growth is based on new product innovation and a driven, successful but friendly and team orientated UK operation that is now ripe for developing a management structure beneath the Managing Director.
For the right candidate this role is a fast track into Regional Sales (man) Management. Not vague promises, but a definite path in. Or if management isn’t for you there will be opportunities for “Product Specialist” roles.
