Finance & Projects Manager

A global business with a family feel… We require a commercially driven Finance & Projects Manager to help head up the UK business. We need a real ‘hands on’ operator with a flexible, open, and honest approach to group wide finance.
 
BASIC SALARY: £60,000 – £70,000

Overview:
 
The successful candidate will ideally be working for a business with turnover in the region of £20-£50 million. You will be used to dealing with regulatory and logistical issues that come from working in a European group Finance role. Now you are looking for a role where your insights and work can genuinely impact the progress of the business.
 
JOB DESCRIPTION: Finance & Projects Manager – Technical consumables / Industrial
 
As our Finance & Projects Manager you will have a wealth of experience running a finance function and once probation is complete, you will also become our UK Company Secretary.
 
In addition, you will:
 
· Manage and oversee all company financial compliance and legal issues
· Lead and manage the Finance team and set clear targets & priorities
· Manage and oversee complex group-wide, European projects
 
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Finance & Projects Manager – Technical consumables / Industrial
 
As the Finance & Projects Manager you will have a wealth of experience leading a commercially focussed finance function within a large SME or corporate business environment. We would be delighted to receive applications from Financial Controllers / Directors / Business Partners with a passion for complex international projects and aspirations to secure a move to a progressive business where your insights and suggestions will have the potential to shape the organisation.

In addition, you will have.
 
· A finance qualification (CIMA, ACCA or ACA) would be preferred although we will consider applications from candidates who are qualified by experience (QBE)
· Exposure to complex international projects and extensive project management experience
· The ability to take an overall commercial view of our business
· Strong communication skills and the willingness to have input at local and group level, challenging the status quo is expected of this role
