We’re seeking an enthusiastic and entrepreneurial Head of Digital Trading to lead our online shopping channel and wider e-commerce and retail channels, enabling them to thrive. We need a commercially minded Head of Digital Trading, with a flair for digital marketing to create our vision of helping our customers to buy directly from us. BASIC SALARY: £80,000

Digital sales and marketing are at the core of our business strategy moving forward and we want someone with entrepreneurial flair and enthusiasm to bring our ecommerce and online marketing channels alive with the aim creating the very best experience for our customers.
To achieve this goal, you will have a team of 8 to lead the growth and business development as well as working closely with other parts of the business to ensure our global digital channel is thriving.
As Head Digital Trading you will be responsible for:
· Owning the whole spectrum of digital performance marketing, overseeing the marketing budget and the progression on return on investment across channels and activities (search, social, programmatic, SEO.
· Managing the full sales & marketing P&L with sales & marketing budget and business planning responsibility including optimising channel and customer profitability.
· Driving growth for all global eCommerce and retail sales (webshop, Amazon, marketplaces, select retail & distribution partners), delivering on short-term and long-term plans and targets.
· Maximising online sales performance through effective management and development of the team, ensuring the long-term strategy is at the heart of all decisions.
· Leading new business development projects including the expansion of the range of products we sell, opening new channels and identifying new areas for development
· Defining and measuring KPIs and tactical changes within the team to adapt to market conditions, ensuring the business is at the forefront of the industry and gaining competitive advantage at every opportunity.
· Partnering and influencing company-wide within the senior management team, ensuring all stakeholders are engaged with our commercial progress, projects and strategy.
· Ensuring new capabilities, knowledge and insights are acquired when needed.
· Partnering with our group company HQ to ensure strategic alignment as well as facilitating and enhancing the sharing of eCommerce and digital marketing learnings and being the bridge into the other HQ eCommerce initiatives.
· Reporting and representing the commercial function with company directors and group company HQ. Reporting to MD.

It goes without saying you will have led in a Digital or eCommerce environment where you have significantly contributed to a P&L as well as an entire business strategy.
