A Head of Product & Marketing is needed for this well respected Financial Services organisation, based within the heart of Lancashire to help design and market their product base and ensure they remain at the forefront of what is a competitive industry.

SALARY: £45,000-£55,000

LOCATION: Manchester

JOB SPECIFICATION: Head of Product & Marketing

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Head of Product & Marketing to join this well respected Financial Services organisation, to work at a strategic level developing the overall direction of the product & service portfolio. This role is pivotal in the overall business strategy that will see the organisation grow significantly. Therefore, the Head of Product & Marketing will look after three key areas – Product Development, Marketing, & Campaign Management.

Consequently, the successful candidate will be responsible for the following:

-To develop an overall strategy for the business’ portfolio of products
-Understand the market and keep up to date on industry trends to ensure the offering of services and products remain competitive.
-Oversee a bespoke marketing programme through different channels to drive increased business growth and customer engagement
-To analyse and prepare MI and marketing reports to be delivered to board level stakeholders
-To ensure membership retention is maintained and cross sale opportunities are delivered.

Overall, as the Head of Product & Marketing you will manage strategic partnerships with providers of other financial services to enhance the range of services and products on offer to the company’s existing membership base.

REQUIREMENTS: Head of Product & Marketing

Ideally, we would receive applicants for the Head of Product & Marketing who have significant experience in designing products for the financial services industry. You will also have the following:

-A background working for a Financial Services company, either retail or B2B
-Knowledge of marketing principles to fully understand the wants and needs of a societies membership base to shape & form the overall marketing strategy.
-To have industry knowledge to foresee and minimise operation and regulatory risk
-Excellent written and verbal communication skills along with copywriting/editing experience
-Resourceful, confident, with a driven and positive ‘can-do’ attitude
-To allow due diligence checks in accordance with the requirements of the Society and Regulators
