SALARY: £25,000-£30,000

LOCATION: Could be remotely based, but ideally close to Birmingham where our offices are.

JOB DESCRIPTION: Internal Sales / Telesales / Business Development Executive – Transport and Logistics

You could be our 13th employee! We’re a small business of 12 people based across 2 offices. We are investing in our future and need to hire our first Internal Salesperson. That’s where you come in!

We've got a new CRM system and need you to research and map out the UK market to populate it with data.

Once the CRM is populated, You will be 100% new business cold calling, making between 50-100 calls per day, aiming to win new business on the phone or book a meeting for our Sales Team to visit. You will be responsible for any accounts won.

This role is hugely important to us as you will be make the difference to our success (or failure). We aim to create a team of 5 Internal Sales Executives.

PERSON SPECIFICATION: Internal Sales / Telesales / Business Development Executive – Transport and Logistics

You must be able to demonstrate experience of:
 Outbound Sales in the form of cold calling
 Market Mapping – researching businesses across the UK and generating ‘leads’ to call them.
 Inputting data onto CRM systems
 Time management and planning

If you have experience in a Transport or Logistics environment that would be beneficial.
