TERRITORY: Based from home you will cover: Gloucestershire, Worcestershire, Oxfordshire (OX), Wiltshire, Bristol (BS), Bath (BA), Cornwall (TR), Devon (TQ/PL) and Dorset (BH/DT)

You could currently live: Anywhere on the patch although preferably not in the extremes, ideally Swindon, Bristol, Taunton - near to good links to the M4 and M5 with the understanding that regular access to our London office is to be expected.

JOB SPECIFICATION: Key Account Manager - Foodservice

The successful candidate will own the territory and drive the growth of business through existing customers. Managing approximately 20-25 wholesale accounts, we encourage you to work with them using push / pull techniques to drive either new business through end users or growing ranges via existing partners including Local Education authorities

You will work towards agreed KPI’s and be given the autonomy to fulfil your role and manage your time effectively.

We have a great story to tell and value the customer experience, we have an enviable product range for you to offer new and existing clients complementing their offering.

Therefore, your days will be spent:
· Focusing on independent wholesalers customers and buying groups.
· Working closely with the National Account Manager to ensure national agreements are delivered at a local level.
· Targeting multi site (HORECA / smaller pub & restaurant chains, nursing/care homes etc) end user accounts to increase product inception.
· Always pushing the client back through your wholesale partners
· Managing approximately £3M of existing business.
· 4 days in the field, 1 day at home – fortnight team skype call

What experience should you have: Key Account Manager - Foodservice

Most of the decision markers or influencers you will be talking to will have a food background, it would certainly help if you have previously worked in a kitchen or been a chef.

We need you to have managed a territory (based from home) and have previous experience of selling via distributors / resellers into end users – obliviously if this is with a foodservice business, wholesaler, food manufacturer it is a distinct advantage, although we will consider other products..

We like our staff to feel valued and give them the autonomy to succeed (you should know more about your customers than we do), ultimately you are the face of the business and the conduit for growth. It would be great to see how you can demonstrate where you have taken ownership in the past and how you deliver for your customers
