ROLE PROFILE: Manufacturing Manager / Production Manager
Reporting to the Operations Manager you will be responsible for improving the manufacturing / production efficiency of one of the most critical parts of our production processes. Ours is a challenging and often complex manufacturing operation, that requires a level head, real leadership skills and a solid engineering understanding.
As Manufacturing / Production Manager you'll be used to managing budgets in excess of £3m and more importantly directly and indirectly leading an established team. We are a 24/7 operation but your core hours will be flexible day times Monday- Friday.
·Provide clear leadership, direction and support to your team and the Senior Management.
·Embed a continuous improvement culture at all levels.
·Identify and improve the manufacturing and operational processes under your control to increase efficiencies, reduce costs and increase customer satisfaction.
You will also plan, run and control various high impact improvement projects throughout your business unit.
PERSONAL PROFILE: Manufacturing Manager / Production Manager
You MUST be an experienced leader / manager with a proven track record of building high performing teams.
·Be educated to degree level.
·Have a strong engineering background - although no specific engineering speciality is required you WILL demonstrate complex process comprehension.
·Have proven experience of creating & owning budgets from £3m upwards, including P&L responsibility.
·Be a capable resource manager with excellent planning skills.
·Be highly adaptive and inspire change.
