JOB SPECIFICATION: Marketing & Sales Support Executive (Graduate Programme)
As a recent graduate, you are unlikely to be able to do all of these already, but we have lots of experience of training new (and nearly new) graduates so we are looking for candidates who have the ability to learn how to:
·Manage our new website including SEO.
·Organise our conference attendance program, sorting out viability, suitability and logistics.
·Maintain and update our sales materials, presentations, case studies etc.
·Interact with our customers, supporting the business development team by providing high levels of customer service including WebEx presentations & training.
·Manage the content of the propriety system for generating proposals and working as part of a team to generate highly-technical but impactful documentation.
·Take responsibility for the business development training materials and events.
·Maintain the internal CRM systems including sales trackers and databases.
·Evaluate competitor tracking and analysis.
REQUIREMENTS: Marketing & Sales Support Executive (Graduate Programme)
You will be able to demonstrate:
·Academic skills: a good degree (2:1 or higher) in life-science, management, business or economics.
·Natural optimism, tenacity and resilience to keep going when things get tough.
·Excellent communication skills both verbal and written.
·A real desire to work in a sales & marketing environment.
·A solid grasp of mathematical concepts and basic statistics.
·A desire to undertake a role that involves extensive travel in the UK, Europe and USA.
·An excellent eye for detail.
·Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise.
·Knowledge in computer packages especially Microsoft Office suite: Word, PowerPoint, Excel.
*Already partly covered above the successful candidate will ideally have gained a Bachelor Honours Degree, 2:1 in a Life Science degree in particular.
However, we will also consider Chemical Biology, Chemistry, Systems Biology, Business Studies and Economics with a Mathematical bias. If you have a genuine fascination with pharmaceuticals and medicine, then this environment is for you.

We are looking for someone who is smart and gets things done; someone who is flexible, energetic, pragmatic and tactful but can balance with an eye for detail and exceptional organisational skills.
