SALARY: £30,000 - £40,000
· Overtime : Time and a half after T 1/2 after 47.5 hours, T&1/2 Sat & Tx2 Sun (Hours paid door 2 door) Either Company Vehicle (fully fitted out & business mileage only) or Train Fare into London

A world leader in vertical access solutions, we are winning more and more contracts across Central London. To keep up with demand we are looking for experienced Industrial Mechanical Engineers with the ability to carry out preventative maintenance and repair work on our wide range of BMUs (Building Maintenance Units) and Cradles, located on some of the most iconic landmarks across the City.
You’ll be supporting a broad range of equipment such as:
· Winches, hoists and motors.
· Bearings, gearboxes and clutches.
· Fall arrest systems, hydraulics, slinging and signalling.
You’ll also be fault finding on PLC’s.
To be considered for this role you MUST be a qualified Mechanical Engineer, educated to NVQ Level 3 or have an ONC, HNC, Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering Degree.
In addition, you MUST:
· Be happy working at heights and in all weathers.
· Demonstrate your hands-on experience of motors / gearboxes / bearings and rollers.
· Have Hydraulic circuits knowledge.
· Be able to conduct electrical safety checks (isolate motors, etc).
Any experience of working on cranes or traction lifts would be of significant benefit but as a minimum you’ll need to have experience of material handling equipment or access plant lifting equipment such as: alloy gantries, forklifts, hiabs or versa lifts, skates, air skates, cranes, toe jacks, roller bars, ultralift, telehandlers.
