National Sales Manager - Consultancy Services

We are seeking a relationship-driven Healthcare / Medical National Sales Manager, with a strong bias towards leading high-performing field-based Account Management teams?

This is a brand-new opportunity to drive pure Account Management and Account Development, as no new business development or cold-calling are required in your role.

The job also includes 2nd line management and offers you very high visibility with the Board of Directors.

SALARY: £70,000 - £75,000

LOCATION: This is a home-based and UK-wide role. Much of your time will be spent out in the field and you will additionally be expected to travel into London for meetings twice a week.

JOB SPECIFICATION: National Sales Manager - Consultancy Services
· As a National Sales Manager you will lead a team of field-based Account Managers, each of whom owns a portfolio of individual accounts.
· Reporting to the Board, you will create your own vision, strategy, direction and processes, in order to deliver the highest levels of account management.
· This includes the development of account & sector plans and a partnership management structure and plan.
· You will be accountable for growing the value of the team’s existing client base by 25%.
· This is a hands-on role where you will handle some personal accounts.
· As a National Sales Manager – Consultancy Services, you will have responsibility for customer services. This involves ensuring that practice meets and exceeds customer expectations across the country.
· Overall success will be achieved through extensive collaboration through the nurturing of long-term relationships with other internal teams.
· You will be accountable for growing the value of the team’s existing client base by 25%.

REQUIREMENTS: National Sales Manager - Consultancy Services
· We are seeking a strong field sales management background and personal sales success, within a consultative service offering sold into the UK health care / NHS and medical sectors.
· You will have tangible experience of leading high-performing sales teams (10 staff or similar) and developing your account managers to their full potential.
· You will have a superior understanding of NHS data and the NHS digital roadmap, coupled with strong client facing experience at board level.
· It is highly likely that you are now seeking to progress your leadership career in a fast-paced organisation where you will drive growth in the value of multiple accounts in your team’s portfolio.
