JOB SPECIFICATION: New Business Development Manager

This New Business Development Manager (Hunters Role) role will take responsibility for selling the full range of customer guidance and safety products and solutions to prospective new clients within multiple markets and channels as above. It will be your responsibility to identify and develop new opportunities across all markets at a senior strategic level. The successful candidate will work alongside the UK Sales Manager and with the senior management team to grow sales through deployment of our value-based selling proposition coupled with the use of your own relationship development and negotiation skills

JOB SPECIFICATION: New Business Development Manager

We are seeking a New Business Development Manager, reporting to the European General Manager, to drive sales and profitability growth by identification, acquisition and initial development of new customers before handover to our team of Business Development Managers.

Principal Accountabilities:

As New Business Development Manager you will:
·Take full responsibility for the research, identification, prospecting and acquisition of new customer accounts.
·Work closely with the senior management team to develop customer acquisition strategies to obtain maximum sales volume and profitability.
·Build a new business prospect pipeline for both current and subsequent years.
·Maintain a clear vision of product marketplace, focusing on new product potential and opportunities, establishing new sales and marketing areas.
·Coordinate development of value-based sales presentations, establishing and leading the pitch to key prospects and clients.
·Ensure that agreed, standardised, prospecting tools and processes are used at all times.
·Develop relationships with senior decision makers (CEO’s, CFO’s, CMO’s) within potential clients.
·Maintain current knowledge of corporate sectors and pro actively seek to identify emerging trends.

As New Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for dealing with all levels of decision makers up to Board level across multi-disciplined teams within the major accounts, therefore we need the maturity and commercial acumen to present high value solutions at a senior level.

REQUIREMENTS: New Business Development Manager

To be successful in your application for this New Business Development Manager role, you will have:
·Proven relevant SME experience in new customer acquisition for manufactured product, preferably in the Retail or Transportation, Hospitality or Leisure industries.
·Engagement in Product Development would be beneficial.
·Understanding of technology to a level of proficiency necessary to speak with authority in regard to the Company’s solutions.
·Outstanding customer-facing skills including communication, presentation, and customer advocacy.
·Demonstrable, deep rooted business relationships at senior level with high profile retailers, banks, airports and transport providers, healthcare and public sectors, leisure and sporting venues.
·Ability to build strong relationships.

It is highly likely you will have worked in any of the following roles and/or markets, and worked with the following products and/or services: Sales Manager, National Account Manager or New Business Development Manager that has experience of selling into the UK's Major Retailers, Banks and Leisure Sectors, Transportation or similar sectors in a Product, Solutions or Service arena. The ability to handle technical products / solutions would be of benefit but most important is the ability to seek and develop new business.
