SALARY: £40,000 - £50,000

Electrical Project Engineer – Role Profile:
This is a senior position and you’ll be reporting to the Technical Manager, working alongside two Mechanical Project Engineers and the Maintenance Manager. You’ll be responsible for the design, control and co-ordination of all Electrical Engineering Projects (CAPEX) across our plant, including:
·Large scale Low Voltage (LV) & High Voltage (HV) projects (this could range from a new sub-station to a complete furnace refurbishment.
·The support of all engineering projects across Safety, Spill Prevention, ERGO, Energy Efficiency, Legionella or Asbestos.
·Any new additions or modifications to our existing plant, equipment and facilities.
·Budget setting and monitoring (including specification creation, BOM and Risk Assessments).
Because of the significant ongoing investment in our plant your projects will be wide ranging and varied so you’ll need to have excellent project management skills to determine the most effective routes to ensure optimal delivery. In addition, Continuous Improvement is part of our DNA and we would expect this to be the same of you.
Electrical Project Engineer – Personal Profile
You MUST be Electrical Degree or HNC / HND qualified with a demonstrable track record in an Industrial or Manufacturing environment.
You WILL have strong CAD Electrical Design skills (AUTOCAD, EPLAN or similar) along with a solid working knowledge of BS7671 for Electrical Installations and BS60204 for Electrical Safety or Machinery as well as previous project management experience.
Ideally, you’ll be able to demonstrate your knowledge of process control techniques such as DMAIC, SPC, lean or 5S and any experience of FMEA would be highly desirable.
