Working as the Office Administrator / Receptionist in this established construction business you will have a varied work load, no day will be the same.
Your day will cover receptionist duties and various admin tasks, giving valued support to numerous departments in this small but growing business.
·Incoming call management mainly from internal customers, such as contractors and suppliers.
·Supporting the accounts department with invoice filling, processing payment runs and maintaining the vehicle fleet management records.
·Booking business travel across the UK and overseas when necessary, including hotel bookings close to the construction site.
·Assisting the Health & Safety team ensuring important documentation for the business and individual sites are up to date, such as public and employee liability insurance.
·Maintain the company training records and ensure all employees and contractors have CSCS cards and other training requirements.
The administrator / receptionist will need the following skills and experience:
·Previous knowledge of the construction industry is essential.
·Excellent telephone manner and written communication skills.
·Intermediate to advanced IT skills on Microsoft Packages.
·Have strong organisational skills and be keen to assist colleagues in the business.
An established design and installation business that operates in the construction industry. They have recently moved sites in Northampton and now require a new member of the team to fully manage the reception area and support other departments such as; buying, accounts, QS Department and Health and Safety Teams.
