TERRITORY: Based from home you will travel throughout the UK.

You could currently live: Anywhere on the patch although preferably not in the extremes, ideally Midlands, although we are open. Nottingham, Birmingham, Oxford, Leicester, Derby, Sheffield, Leeds, Manchester, Stoke, Peterborough, Cambridge

JOB SPECIFICATION: Sales Controller / National Sales Manager - Foodservice

The position is open due to a restructure of the team in line with our business growth plans. The successful candidate is here to focus on the team, allowing the ‘head of’ to be more strategic and focus on developing our go to market tactics.

We have a great story to tell and value both the customer experience and our teams. Therefore, your days will be spent:
· Focusing on people management – a team of 6 (based from Southampton to Glasgow and Peterborough to Manchester).
· Leading, mentoring, coaching, developing, training and supporting on client visits (this is not a ‘sit behind a desk’ role).
· Liaising with a variety of internal stakeholders, in particular, Marketing and the National Account Managers to ensure the team can deliver on a local level.
· Delivery of the sales budget circa £25M.

What experience should you have: Sales Controller / National Sales Manager - Foodservice

The team are an experienced group of talented individuals who all have different drivers and needs; therefore, your background has to be people focused and a proven track record of supporting and developing others.

Previous experience of remote people management is critical (a minimum of 4), we feel knowledge of the food sector and in particular foodservice is an essential, knowledge of the key players and the challenges involved working across the supply chain will enable you to quickly earn credibility across the business.

You could currently be a national manager or a regional looking to step up but must have remotely managed and come from foodservice.
