Sales Manager, EMEA - Petrochem, Oli and Gas

Global manufacturing Group requires an experienced Sales Manager to develop and manage a sales team across Europe selling to the Heavy Industry Sector, in particular Petrochem and Oil and Gas. Heavy industry covers Petrochem, Mining and Wear and Abrasion.

SALARY: Salary expectations will not be a limiting factor for the right candidate

LOCATION: This is a home based role and will require extensive travel throughout the EMEA (50% of your time)

COMMUTABLE LOCATIONS: London, Manchester, Glasgow, Liverpool, Birmingham, Newcastle upon Tyne - You could also live in any of the following countries: Norway, Sweden, Denmark, Germany or Finland

JOB DESCRIPTION: Sales Manager, EMEA – Petrochem, Oil and Gas

As part of our European sales operation, we wish to recruit a Sales Manager to develop, manage and build a team, based across Europe for one of our specialist divisions. This division manufactures and supplies technical products and solutions, through specification to Heavy Industry which covers Petrochem, Oil and Gas Mining and Wear and Abrasion.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Sales Manager, EMEA – Petrochem, Oil and Gas

A more detailed brief will be made available to those who are shortlisted but in brief, as part of the European sales team, you will:
 Develop and grow sustainable revenues and market share
 Lead and develop your European Sales team, helping them to grow business within existing accounts, and identify, qualify and develop new, profitable long term business opportunities with new customers
 Implement the plans and strategies of the Group across Europe
 Develop the division’s ability to meet customer or market needs with a product, service or solution. Understand and positively react to the voice of the customer and their respective market

PERSON SPECIFICATION: Sales Manager, EMEA – Petrochem, Oil and Gas

We would be delighted to receive applications from individuals who:
 Are ideally degree qualified, experienced Sales Managers with a proven track record of managing a team of Sales Engineers / Sales Account Managers (preferably across international borders) and who ideally will be selling into the Petrochem or Oil and Gas markets.
 If you have any speciality chemical industry experience, that would be of particular interest.
 Products wise, have sold technical products, specialised components or sub-systems; we are open in terms of product experience as long as your current sell is specification based and project led
