World class precision laboratory equipment manufacturing group wish to recruit a bilingual ( French & English  Sales Manager to build their presence in France, developing a dealer/distributor network selling to Academia, Food & Beverage, Healthcare, Pharmaceutical & Biotech, Chemical & Petrochemical, Nuclear, Waste & Environmental and Process Engineering market sectors.

SALARY: Highly Competitive Salary.

LOCATION: France - Home based covering the French market 90% of your time with circa 10% taken up with travel to other European Countries to develop new dealers/distributors (Belgium, Spain, Italy, Portugal & Greece)

JOB BRIEF – Sales Manager - France

A full job brief will be made available to short listed candidates but in summary, you will be responsible for:

  • Working with our existing French based distributor and their dealer network to develop sales opportunities across the above market sectors and supporting, educating and training their sales teams to sell our systems more effectively to end-users
  • Identifying and developing (in partnership with our European Sales Director) new dealers and alternative routes to market
  • Providing technical training and sales support to Pan-European & Global Partners (significant key accounts) who sell our (or own label) products

PERSON REQUIREMENTS - Sales Manager - France

We are interested in receiving applications from sales professionals who meet any of the following profiles:

  • Selling laboratory and/or associated equipment to dealers, distributors or direct to end-users. You could be working for a manufacturer selling to dealers or for a dealer/distributor selling direct to laboratory equipment end-users with the desire to step up and work for a manufacturer
  • Selling other technology-based equipment/systems to dealers/distributors to any of the markets we supply to; Food & Beverage, Healthcare, Pharmaceutical & Biotech, Chemical & Petrochemical, Nuclear, Waste & Environmental, Process Engineering and/or Education

Either way, it is important that you:

  • Are bilingual (written and spoken) in French and English
  • Are a relationship builder and business developer, not afraid to cultivate relationships with dealers / distributors / manufacturers you haven’t sold to before
