BASIC SALARY: up to £45,000

JOB DESCRIPTION: Sales Manager / Business Development Manager – Process / Packaging Machinery or Capital Equipment – Food Industry
You will be managing the companies existing and installed client base across the UK with a brief to develop new machinery sales from these existing clients. Full internal & field sales support will be offered. Once established and successful your area will change from the whole UK to just the North as another sales Manager will be recruited to cover the South.
PERSON SPECIFICATION: Sales Manager / Business Development Manager – Process / Packaging Machinery or Capital Equipment – Food Industry
· You MUST have a current and proven track record of success in an external B2B sales role working for an industrial, manufacturing or engineering company selling to the food manufacturing and processing industry
· You will ideally have sold capital equipment or a high value technical solution
· You WILL be a qualified mechanical or electrical/electronic engineer
· You will be ambitious and looking for a long term career move
A market leading (this may well be a cliché but is very true) European manufacturer of packaging and process machinery supplying the food manufacturing and processing industry. Order value ranges from £100,000 to £500,000. They have a reputation for very high quality machinery and very high quality after sales and service support with their blue chip client base. I have known the management team for a number of years and have successfully placed sales people with them in the past who have thrived.
Excellent prospects for this Sales Manager as the company promote from within where ever possible and success in this role will lead to a more senior role in the next 2 to 3 years as their growth plan continues to roll out.
