One of the UK’s leading providers of Public Sector support services requires a Senior Client Services Manager  to manage existing clients within Local Authorities.

SALARY: £40,000 to £45,000

JOB SPECIFICATION: Senior Client Services Manager

This is a field-based role managing and controlling the delivery of an effective client management and collaboration service for Local Authority clients. The Senior Client Services Manager has responsibility for planning, monitoring, communication and relationship management within Local Authorities throughout the South of the UK within existing and new clients.

REQUIREMENTS: Senior Client Services Manager

You will need to demonstrate an understanding of Local Authorities and the Public sector market in relation to client requirements and current and future issues.

You must be credible in personal and professional demeanour and be confident when dealing with clients, customers, colleagues, external partners and other stakeholders. You will also possess the ability to analyse data and reach logical conclusions.

Key Responsibilities: Senior Client Services Manager

·Strategic leadership of client interactions within Local Authorities across the Southern part of the UK through the lifecycle from first conversation through to operational delivery.
·To develop and sustain a positive relationship with clients and conduct the relationship through a collaborative approach.
·To demonstrate flexibility and adaptability in the drive towards change and the improvement of client management and collaboration.
·To build dependent relationships with key clients to maintain their loyalty over the long term.
·To maintain and develop existing and new clients through appropriate propositions and sales methods.

Key activities for this Senior Client Services Manager:

·Maintaining regular contact with clients.
·To monitor the contract deliverables including liaison, complaints and collection through the life of the contract and take any corrective as required.
·To be accountable for all the specific Client Management activities within a designated client base.
·To develop and maintain effective working relationships with all relevant stakeholders and suppliers.
·Utilise knowledge, skills and experience to enable the maximisation of revenue growth and increased levels of client satisfaction.
·Attendance at events and conferences to network and promote our services.
·To undertake statistical analysis to support resource utilisation and decision making.
·Uses negotiation skills and change control process to agree changes to scope, deliverables, resources costs and time scales for client requirements.
·Provides management and / or mentoring of staff
·Engages effectively with senior stakeholders and maintains strong, mutually beneficial relationships - actively maintains a network of senior stakeholder contacts
·Monitors competitive activity to identify potential threats to key accounts.
·To keep abreast of legislative and general developments within the client sector.
