JOB SPECIFICATION - Technical Sales Engineer - Components, Fastenings to OEMs

Working a very good, established territory you will be developing some major OEM accounts; a large number of smaller ones with potential to grow, and most importantly looking for new business. Good sized accounts range from £50k to £200k annual spend, but can go to £1m . This is a multi- decision maker, multi presentation, long lead time sell. A strategic decision for OEM customers, often involving project teams and some sort of tender dealing at all levels from shop floor / management up to director level, with purchasing being the most important. Sales can entail getting your foot in the door where the client tries you out for certain "difficult to find" components and then developing from there up to a full supply chain solution.

For this Sales Manager- Components, Fastenings to OEMs role, we are interested in hearing from candidates with a proven track record of sales success selling technical industrial components or consumables to OEM's and the manufacturing industry, ideally as a supply chain solution i.e. not a catalogue product type sell. You will be tenacious to hunt down new business, but credible enough to manage and develop large OEM accounts.

PROSPECTS:

Excellent in the UK, and potentially overseas, to develop your career as a Senior Account Manager and Business Development Manager in specific markets, or to man-management.
