My client offer a complete architectural steel solutions for businesses in Northampton and throughout England, providing comprehensive fabrication and welding services, both supply and fit. Looking for a Fabricator / Welder that wants a new start with a forward thinking business within the world of steel fabrication.
HOURLY RATE : £16.25 per hour
LOCATION : Northampton (South)
DATE COMMENCING : 18th November 2024
LENGTH OF CONTRACT : on going / could lead to a permanent job for the right candidate
HOURS OF WORK :
· 7:30 / 8.00 – 17:00 / 17:30
· Book 8.5 / 9 hours per day
JOB DESCRIPTION : Fabricator, Welder, Mig Welder – Steel, Fabrication
Your role will be to weld, fabricate and fit to site, its all structural steel work buildings, fabricate gates, steel lintels and they tend to turn their hands to anything to mild steel.
The right candidate would need experience in Mig welding and be time served, read technical drawings, carry your own hand tools and to be able to trouble shoot and think on your feet.
It’s mainly workshop based but you would be expected to visit site for fitting when required.
If you could also ARC weld that would be beneficial but not essential.
This is a temporary job to begin with but for the right candidate it could lead to a permanent job for the company itself. You would need to prove your ability and above all be reliable and hard working.
