SALARY: £45,000 - £47,000

REQUIREMENTS: Production Development Engineer - NPD

You will have an engineering apprenticeship or Degree, coupled with demonstrable experience of several significant scale-up or development projects, in any industry sector.

JOB SPECIFICATION: Production Development Engineer - NPD

As a Production Development Engineer NPD, you will lead the management and implementation of projects to scale up laboratory to manufacturing scale on behalf of clients. You will also work with sales teams to win clients for this activity.

RESPONSIBILITIES: Production Development Engineer - NPD
• You will investigate, design and implement novel processes for the manufacture or application of materials.
• Delivery of an annual target value of scale-up projects.
• Accountability for development and retention of client relationships.
• On-time, in-full completion of projects at the front-end of R&D, at the pilot stage between the laboratory and production.
• Leadership of ad hoc scientific and engineering project teams.
• Achieve budgeted revenues.
• Scale-up projects across several different materials and in a variety of industry sectors.
• 10% of your role will be spent travelling, both national and internationally.
