Our Client is a global healthcare product distributor based in the Midlands. Due to growth the company needed an eCommerce Manager for the Business to Business arm of the organisation.
The Challenge
The market had been saturated previously by themselves also by the agencies they had currently used. The client was extremely specific not just regarding the desired experience and skill set but also the right personality to come on board and offer experience and innovative ideas towards the existing eCommerce platform.
The WH Solution
We decided the best way to recruit would be using our eSearch model. We went onto the job boards and reviewed the content and job titles the role had been advertised under previously. Working with the specialist recruiter and web manager here we fully optimised the new job advert. The adverts were posted on multiple sites in multiple locations. Alongside this, our team of in house resourcers set about searching all job boards and finding people on LinkedIn / Social Media platforms.
The Results
We received 142 responses to the advert and the resource team found 5 potential candidates. From these 15 were initially telephone screened and the client profile and full job spec was sent out. This list was then shortlisted and 9 potential candidates were interviewed face to face by the consultant. The 4 best suited candidates were put forward to the client for interviews, 2 went through to a second interview and the job was offered and accepted. The client was so pleased with the results they now use us exclusively on all roles across the business.
