BASIC SALARY: Up to £40,000

COMMUTABLE LOCATIONS: Ideally, you’ll be based in Central England / the Midlands as you’ll be working all over England. You’ll be working remotely and travelling to and from clients sites, so being close to the major motorway networks would be advantageous.

JOB DESCRIPTION: Project Manager, Environmental Consultant – Remediation
 
As our Project Manager you’ll become part of our specialist team and utilise your extensive experience to manage remedial projects in oil spill response, commercial remediation and invasive plant species.
 
Reporting into our Operations Manager, you’ll work remotely from home and will attend site visits around England in order to carry out investigations and collect samples to effectively write your own reports and plan remedial strategies. You’ll collaborate with various stakeholders to complete the remedial works and manage the site team through to completion stage.
 
In addition you’ll be:
· Health and safety planning, preparing risk assessments, method statements and construction phase plans
· Collecting environmental samples from sites and compiling phase reports and validation reports
· Creating proposals and tenders for potential projects to grow sales
 
PERSON SPECIFICATION: Project Manager, Environmental Consultant – Remediation
 
You must have experience as a Project Manager within remedial projects, specifically within oil spills. You’ll work as part of a team and possess strong communication skills, both written and verbal, to liaise with internal and external stakeholders. You must be willing to travel across the country to project sites, but we do our best to keep your projects as close to home as possible!
 
As our Project Manager you’ll:
· Have a background in Phase I and Phase II investigations and reporting
· Be capable of performing the hands-on drilling and testing of sites
· Be self-motivated and have a strong work ethic
· Hold a full UK driving license, this is essential
· Ideally have a relevant environmental qualification
