BASIC SALARY: £35,000-£45,000

LOCATION: This will be a home based role, covering the entire UK so you could be in or near any of the following locations: Manchester, Liverpool, Sheffield, Nottingham, Birmingham, Northampton, Oxford, Cambridge, Swindon, Bristol, London, Southampton.

To support our clients, help understand their challenges, and identify how our solutions can benefit their projects, we need a technically gifted Account Manager / Pre-Sales Consultant with a strong scientific capability.
 
You’ll already be used to proposing solutions into the Scientific Research & Development sector, Academia or Research Groups, and be very comfortable in a laboratory environment. Ideally, you’ll be used to working with Researchers and Manufacturers in applications such as sensors, corrosion, coatings, catalysts, fuel cells batteries and super capacitors.
 
As our Account Manager / Pre-Sales Consultant, your focus will be on building great relationships with hi-tech research and engineering operations throughout the UK. You’ll meet and guide our clients through the process from initial enquiry through to solution identification and project close.
 
Our solutions include:
· Potentiostats & Battery Test Systems
· Fuel Cell Research Systems
· Electrolyzer Test Systems
 
To be our Account Manager / Pre-Sales Consultant, you MUST have a solid understanding of electronic test & measurement instrumentation techniques (you’ll know your 4-wire RTD from your Kelvin Sensor!) and have a scientific qualification within a relevant field.
 
You may be:
· An experienced Technical Sales Engineer or a Business Development Manager who can adapt your scientific knowledge & skills to our range of products
OR
· You could be a recent Graduate with a qualification in the Electrochemical field and seeking your first or second job.  
 
Either way, you’ll work from home and demonstrate the self-motivation and organisational skills to manage your time and ensure all of our clients, both existing and new, get the best possible guidance and service. Ultimately, as our Account Manager / Pre-sales Consultant you’ll be the type to get involved in all areas of our client base and have the willingness / aptitude to learn and continue to develop your knowledge.
 
It is highly likely you will have worked in any of the following roles and/or markets, and worked with the following products and/or services: Account Manager, Pre-Sales, Consultant, Scientific Sales, Business Development Manager, Sales Manager, Technical Sales Engineer, Technical Sales Manager, Sales Engineer. Test and Measurement. Sensors, Kelvin, RDT, Electrochemical and Energy Research System products – Potentiostats, Battery Test Systems, Fuel Cell Research Systems, Electrolyzer Test Systems, electrodes. Scientific Research & Development Sector, University Research Groups, Laboratories, Metrology, Chemical, Automotive, Aerospace, Marine and Space. Researchers and manufacturers in applications such as sensors, corrosion, coatings, catalysts, fuel cells, batteries and supercapacitors.
