Internal Sales Executive

We are a Global chemical manufacturer, based in Birmingham and sell into various manufacturing and engineering sectors such as industrial and automotive. We are seeking a technically minded Internal Sales professional who will be site based selling technical chemicals and consumables.
 
BASIC SALARY: Up to £28,000
 
BENEFITS:
· Up to 20% bonus (individual and company based)

LOCATION: Office Based – Birmingham
 
COMMUTABLE LOCATIONS: Coventry, Birmingham, Tamworth, Cannock, Walsall, Wolverhampton, Redditch, Bromsgrove, Kidderminster, West Bromwich, Telford, Stafford, etc

This will be a challenging internal sales role where you will identify multiple business opportunities to generate your own revenue growth. This could be a fantastic foot in the door of a global chemical manufacturer with huge personal growth potential for you within the Sales team.
 
Your personal growth could be into a more senior internal sales role or external into a customer facing Territory / Area role. The sky’s the limit with for you if you join us at our Birmingham site.
 
You’ll be selling to end users in engineering and manufacturing & chemical distributors in the UK. This will include industrial, automotive and transportation based customers. The UK sales team in total is 10 split internally and externally and we’re led by an experienced General Manager from the chemicals / automotive arena who has huge growth plans for our business.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES: Internal Sales Executive, Internal Sales, Telesales – Chemical consumables / Technical Consumables
 
· Develop New Business – You will be expected to largely create your own new business opportunities with new customers and lapsed customer accounts. Some of these lapsed accounts might just need a different voice or contact to tempt them into buying
· Account Management – You could make existing customers aware of new products, up-sell and cross sell them, so they’re fully aware of our product portfolio of over 10,000 SKU’s. Who else do they buy from?
 
Your Background: Internal Sales Executive, Internal Sales, Telesales – Chemical consumables / Technical Consumables
 
· We would be delighted to receive your application if you’re experienced in B2B sales and you’re looking to develop your career with a market leading chemical manufacturer
· Any experience of chemicals, technical consumables, engineered products, adhesives, resins, polymers, paints would be advantageous as would sales experience in an industrial / engineering setting
 
Training & Development – You will undertake full product training internal and externally in all aspects of technical sales within our distributor network and our diverse range of chemical solutions.
