Home based, UK wide consultative technical sales vacancy with a great salary and excellent commission. We’re looking for an experienced capital equipment sales professional to sell our range of vertical form fill and seal (VFFS) machinery / flexible packaging solutions to a diverse client base. BASIC SALARY: Up to £60,000

This Sales Manager role is home based, field sales role selling high value capital equipment solutions to the food manufacturing, beverage, pharmaceutical, pet, chemical and automotive industries across the UK. 80% of the role is a consultative, technical sales role following pre-generated enquires from high profile customers across the country. 20% is account management of a mature installed user base.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Technical Sales Manager, Sales Manager, Business Development Manager Capital Equipment, PPMA, Vertical Form Fill & Seal
· Consultative technical solution sales from a broad range of flexible packaging solutions (for instance – vertical form fill and seal, sachet and pouch machines).
· Managing enquiries generated by exhibitions, external marketing or the internal sales team.
· Leveraging existing relationships and installed user base to identify sales opportunities
PERSON SPECIFICATION: Technical Sales Manager, Sales Manager, Business Development Manager Capital Equipment, PPMA, Vertical Form Fill and Seal
· Independent, autonomous and self-motivated professional technical salesperson with a consultative approach to technical sales.
· A proven track record of sales success of industrial capital equipment with longer lead times and large order values.
Any exposure to vertical or horizontal form fill and seal (VFFS / HFFS) machinery, bag fillers, sachet filling equipment or flexible packaging machinery would be an obvious match – although any process or packaging machinery technical sales (PPMA) would be an advantage. Any technical sales success you’ve had selling capital projects or solutions to the food & beverage, pharmaceutical, pet, personal care or automotive sectors would also be of interest.
