BASIC SALARY: £40,000 – £45,000
· Circa £15,000 1st year OTE – up to £30,000 year 2 for high performers

LOCATION: Field Based – Your territory will cover the East Anglia down to Southend, across to Slough and back up bordering the M1 up to Leicester and then across to Peterborough and Kings Lynn.
COMMUTABLE LOCATIONS: Northampton, Milton Keynes, Leicester, Peterborough, Kings Lynn, Norwich, Bury St Edmunds, Cambridge, Ipswich, Colchester, Chelmsford, Dagenham, Watford, Aylesbury, Luton and Stevenage.
JOB DESCRIPTION: Area Sales Manager, Business Development Manager – Construction, Modular Buildings
We understand you have a life outside of work so you will work Monday – Friday (08:30 – 17:00). You will ideally be based a commutable distance from your territories and will spend 1 day per week on site with the team, we want to see you!
Providing temporary / semi-permanent builds through purchases, hiring and finance, your customers across different sectors (largely industrial, agricultural and automotive in your territory) will have diverse requirements. As our Area Sales Manager you will build good business relationships and establish their needs, while selling our services you will demonstrate the value we offer and follow each visit up with a transparent proposal.
With an average of 20 -25 warm leads per month (with a current conversion rate of 1 in 12) you will meet with your clients within your territory and manage your own diary effectively ensuring all clients are seen in a timely manner. Order values will range from £20,000 – £1,000,000 giving you a diverse platform (using the CRM system to support your mission). No hunting for leads! 99% of your leads will be incoming with 80% being new business giving you the opportunity to grow your portfolio and strive towards your annual target!
PERSON SPECIFICATION: Area Sales Manager, Business Development Manager – Construction, Modular Buildings
You will be confident, outgoing and have a proven track record of hitting sales targets with an average order value of £100,000. You will be independent and be able to manage your workload effectively preparing for meetings in good time. You will work well with your team while you report to your sales manager and liaise with the project manager.

Although you will have the experience to hit the ground running, we will support you with accompanied client visits while you learn the CRM system and our process so you can be rest assured you will have the necessary support from the team.
