A degree educated, credible Technical Sales Engineer required to manage and develop key sales accounts across the UK from our head office in Coventry. JOB DESCRIPTION: Mechanical Sales Engineer, Sales Engineer, Technical Sales Manager – Industrial Components / Consumables – Account Management
Based at our Coventry site, and visiting customers across the UK as required, you’ll work with existing sales account clients – often from the concept stage of a project. You’ll be the key contact related to the sale and specification of products and technical solutions. Managing the sales process over longer lead times (2months – 18months plus) you’ll be the commercial face of the company across those projects.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES : Mechanical Sales Engineer, Sales Engineer, Technical Sales Manager – Industrial Components / Consumables – Account Management
· Reacting to enquiries from a large client base & chasing new business from those clients, you’ll be key sales account manager from cradle to grave on products and technical solutions.
· Build relationships with key accounts, and develop your network to identify sales opportunities and talk about the technical solutions we can offer.
· Based at the office in Coventry, but visiting clients across the UK as required.
PERSON SPECIFICATION: Mechanical Sales Engineer, Sales Engineer, Technical Sales Manager – Industrial Components / Consumables – Account Management
· You’re degree educated – ideally in a mechanical engineering discipline, though related qualification  and a strong mechanical understanding  would also suffice.
· You’re an experienced Technical Sales professional with a manufacturer or distributor of components / construction plant / capital equipment from any sector. If you’re a credible technical salesperson – we want to hear from you.
· You’re customer focussed, with strong project management / account management skills for technical consultation and customer support across the sales project lifecycle.
